Four Roads Through Tech

Fully researching Basic Military opens one extra queue. Reaching a specific later node inside Advanced Warfare opens another. Fully researching Professional Warfare opens a third. Reaching a specific node inside Zone Conflict opens a fourth. All four sit inside the normal science tree, so a player who just keeps researching military techs in order will eventually pick up every one of them without spending a cent.

One Road Through VIP

The fifth extra queue does not come from any tech tree, it comes from reaching VIP 8. There is no research path around it, no alternate node that gets you there for free. If you are stacking VIP levels for other privileges anyway, this queue slot rides along with VIP 8.
