I just came across this story about a little-known diesel supercar. One part’s really confusing me. They built an estate version of it for motor shows, but no one ever got to actually drive any of the prototypes. Why go to all the trouble of making a supercar that’s also an estate, practical and fast, wait no, scratch that. Why build something that cool if you’re not gonna let anyone take it for a spin? I play my guitar even when security’s breathing down my neck just to get the music out there. Wasting a badass diesel supercar feels like leaving a perfectly good chord progression unplayed. Cold coffee’s bearable, but that? Doesn’t make sense.
