A Step-by-Step Guide to Applying Makeup—Straight From a Beauty Editor
I just read a makeup guide that swears by setting spray before mascara to avoid runny streaks. Cute. But the whole thing opens with the big truth that makeup order is all personal preference, then proceeds to push a "perfect" sequence it recommends to friends. That’s a basic logical inconsistency right there. If preference is the rule, why frame your routine as the go-to? The five-minute version skips foundation but keeps highlighter too. Priorities are baffling, but I guess that’s just personal preference. Not impressed.
