I just watched that UFC Sacramento fight clip, and I’m not fully buying that the glancing left hook was what stopped Kuse. Yeah, it wobbled him and sent him to the canvas. But Barbosa waited for the ref to step in, and when he didn’t, he moved in to finish. Herzog stopped it right before any more punches landed. We never got to see if Kuse would’ve bounced back from that initial clip alone. A glancing blow to the forehead might stun you, but it’s hard to say it was enough to end the fight without the follow-up that never happened.
