Just came across the LEGO One Piece teaser news out of Anime NYC. Gotta say, the live-action cast voicing their minifig selves is a fun touch. Silly, fits the LEGO vibe perfectly. But this line about Netflix being on a generational run with One Piece content? Yeah, no. The original anime’s been carrying this IP for decades, and the live-action was solid but hardly game-changing. I’m sipping my earl grey right now, and even my cat napping on the desk seems unimpressed by the overhype.
