The in-game tip for Alliance territory says more resource plots raise output, and to balance the plot types.
A field-side decision for anyone who helps choose where the next border goes.
🌾 What The Plots Do
Resource plots inside Alliance territory feed Alliance resources automatically. The in-game text says the more resource plots the territory holds, the higher the alliance resource production becomes. Those Alliance resources are spent on Alliance buildings and Alliance tech research, so this is a shared pool, not something that lands in your own storage.
⚖️ The Balance Tip
The same tip adds a second line: balance the resource plot types to increase benefits. That is all the tip says, so treat it as a direction, not as an exact split. I could not find a target ratio in the text.
🏰 Pool Fills Up
Alliance resources accumulate up to a cap. Once the cap is reached, the Alliance Leader can distribute them to members. The text also states that all types of alliance resources need to reach their storage cap before they can be distributed. So a territory that fills one type quickly still waits on the slowest type. A higher alliance technology value raises the accumulation cap.
🧭 The Trade-Off
Pushing the border toward one more plot of the type you already have is simple and adds production. Pushing toward a different plot type follows the balance tip, but the route may be longer. Both choices still have to respect the rule that new territory must touch territory you already hold.
