Barracks upgrade preview lists eight Footmen unlocks at 1, 2, 5, 10, 13, 16, 19, and 22. 🪖
The Barracks upgrade preview names eight new Footmen lines before Level 23, but the waits are 1, then 3, then 5, then a steady 3. 🏗️📋
Barracks levels 1 through 25 show two kinds of upgrade-preview rows. Eight levels print a new Unlock line. The other seventeen update the existing columns and add no new Footmen name. The official names, in preview order, are Shielder, Pikeman, Light Shield Guard, Heavy Shield Guard, Halberdier, Court Guard, Royal Footman, and Heavy Pikeman. Those eight lines are what the upgrade preview prints. They are not a claim that Barracks has no further Footmen anywhere else.
Eight Preview Unlocks
Level 1 prints Unlock Shielder. Level 2 prints Unlock Pikeman. The remaining Unlock lines sit at Levels 5, 10, 13, 16, 19, and 22: Light Shield Guard, Heavy Shield Guard, Halberdier, Court Guard, Royal Footman, Heavy Pikeman. Any Barracks level outside that set of eight has no new troop sentence in its upgrade preview.
Longest Wait Midway
Shielder and Pikeman land one level apart (Level 1 to Level 2). Light Shield Guard follows at Level 5, three levels later. The long pause is the next one: five levels from Light Shield Guard at Level 5 to Heavy Shield Guard at Level 10. That five-level wait is longer than the opening one-level gap and longer than each three-level wait after it. From Heavy Shield Guard onward, the preview repeats every three levels: Halberdier at 13, Court Guard at 16, Royal Footman at 19, Heavy Pikeman at 22. 🎯
Quiet Late Levels
Levels 23 through 25 keep updating the same kind of numbers as the non-unlock rows. No ninth Unlock line appears. Missing Unlock lines on those three levels are not proof that Barracks has closed its Footmen roster. This guide only reports the upgrade preview.
Queue Or Pause
- Chasing a new Footmen name in the Barracks preview means living through the Level 5 to Level 10 quiet stretch, the longest wait on this board.
- After Heavy Shield Guard, you can count three levels ahead to the next Unlock line, all the way to Level 22.
- A Barracks upgrade aimed at 23, 24, or 25 will not buy a new Unlock sentence on this preview. Later Footmen stay unconfirmed until they show up on a player-facing screen.
The preview looks like a regular drip of new troops. It bunches at the start, takes one five-level pause in the middle, then runs a three-level clock, and it stops naming new Footmen before the 1-25 range ends.
If your Barracks is at Level 5 with Light Shield Guard just unlocked, do you keep the upgrade queue on Barracks through the five-level wait for Heavy Shield Guard, or move that queue to another building until Level 10 is close?
