Guide
Ever wondered why your cavalry tech tree never seems to finish? 🤔 We pulled the real numbers straight from the tech tables so you can plan your stockpile instead of guessing.
Tree Unlock Basics
The Cavalry Training tree opens up once your Castle hits Lv1 and your Stable is at Lv1. Simple enough to start, but the tree goes a lot deeper than that first click suggests. As you push into the later nodes, you'll also need higher Institute levels to keep researching, so don't neglect that building along the way 🏛️
One Node Breakdown
Let's zoom in on a single node inside the tree that scales all the way from level 0 to level 10. Taking it from scratch to fully maxed costs:
- Wood: about 3,000,000
- Iron: about 4,300,000
- War Badges: about 476,000
- Research time: roughly 43 hours (about 1.8 days) with a single research queue and no speedups
And that's just ONE node. The tree has a lot more than one 😅
Full Tree Total
Add up every single node in the entire Cavalry Training tree and the totals get wild:
- Wood: around 625,000,000
- Iron: around 551,000,000
- Stone: around 319,000,000
- War Badges: around 120,000,000
- Total research time: about 9,000 hours, which is roughly 375 days nonstop on one queue
Nobody rushes this in a weekend, and that's fine. Most players chip away at it tier by tier as resources allow.
Same Cost Everywhere
Curious whether Infantry or Archer training is any cheaper? Not really. Both land in the same ballpark, roughly half a billion in raw resources each and almost identical total research time to Cavalry Training. The three basic combat trees were clearly built on the same cost skeleton, just with a different resource mix per tree.
Practical Takeaways
- Budget Wood and Iron heavily if you're pushing combat tech, they dominate the early and mid nodes
- War Badges scale fast in the later levels, so keep a steady source flowing instead of hoarding for one big push
- Institute upgrades gate your access to deeper nodes, treat it as a prerequisite building, not an afterthought
- There is no shortcut around the raw time cost, speedup items are the only lever you control
No rush, no fear of missing out here, just know what you're signing up for before you commit your stockpile 🙂
