Combat Base talents reset one node at a time, and the price always matches what you paid
I was scared to touch my Combat Base talent tree for weeks because I assumed resetting it meant torching everything I'd built and starting from zero 🎖️ turns out that's not how it works at all, and honestly that changes how I'd plan it.
Every talent node in a Combat Base tree, the ones buffing your stationed Fighters, Shooters, Vehicles, even the base's own Hospital count and reinforcement stats, costs Tactic Points to level up. Early tier nodes cost 1 point, the deeper tier ones unlocked later cost 2 points. Here's the part that actually matters, resetting any single node costs Common Tactic Medals in that exact same amount, 1 Medal for a 1 point node, 2 Medals for a 2 point node. There's no separate "wipe the whole tree" fee stacked on top.
So if you picked a cheap early node and regret it, undoing that mistake costs you basically nothing. It's only the deeper, pricier picks that cost a bit more to walk back, and even then it's just 2 Medals, not some punishing gem sink. You're resetting node by node, not committing to an all or nothing tree wipe.
One Node Reset
You undo mistakes individually, not by wiping the entire tree at once.
Price Matches Points
Reset cost mirrors exactly what you spent to unlock that node, nothing extra tacked on.
Cheap Picks Stay Cheap
Early tier nodes only cost 1 Medal to undo, so low stakes experimenting is basically free.
Given resets are this forgiving, would you rather test out an aggressive Fighter focused build first and adjust later, or still play it safe and plan the whole tree before touching a single point? 🤔
