Alliance Center 1 refunds only 10% of its build cost when torn down; Centers 2 through 4 refund 90%. 🏰
Demolishing your alliance's very first Alliance Center gives back a small fraction of what your alliance spent, while the three Centers built after it are far more forgiving to undo.
One Center, Two Builds
When your alliance places its very first Alliance Center, it comes up almost instantly, already close to fully built the moment troops arrive. Centers 2, 3, and 4 don't get that shortcut. Each one starts barely a third finished, and alliance members have to grind out real construction progress before it's actually online.
The Real Teardown Math 💸
That head start comes with a catch. If Alliance Center 1 is ever torn down, only a small slice of what your alliance poured into it comes back. Centers 2 through 4 work the opposite way. Scrap one of those, and most of the investment flows straight back into your alliance's stockpile. Worth remembering before anyone hits demolish out of frustration.
Order Locks the Chain 🔗
None of this happens out of sequence. Center 2 only becomes available after Center 1 exists, Center 3 waits on Center 2, and Center 4 waits on Center 3. Skipping ahead isn't an option, so plan your alliance's build queue around that chain instead of rushing straight for the far end.
These four Centers aren't just scenery, either. During Total War, rival alliances can march straight at your Alliance Centers instead of only your Honor Structures, so the ones your alliance has sunk the most effort into are also the ones worth defending the hardest.
If your alliance had to give up one Alliance Center tomorrow, would you rather it be Center 1, or one of the later three?
