Alliance Help saves a fixed number of seconds per click, not a percentage of your build time.
Upgrading your Alliance Hall after that queue is already running will not add anything to it, because the seconds-per-click value is captured once, right when the build or research begins. 🏰 The number of helpers your alliance can send does keep recalculating live, so a sudden growth spurt in membership does let more people click, but each click still saves the same locked-in amount.
🔒 Locked At Queue Start
The seconds saved per click depend on your Alliance Hall level and your alliance's help-speed tech at that exact moment, then freeze until the queue finishes. Cancel and restart the queue after a fresh Alliance Hall upgrade, and you lock in a totally different, often better, rate. Skip that step and the higher level just sits there unused for this particular build.
📣 Ask Early, Not Late
A maxed-out Alliance Hall paired with fully upgraded help tech can save close to an hour and a half off a single queue. That ceiling barely registers on a three-day research project, but it can finish an early construction outright. Request help within the first few minutes of starting a build, while there's still enough time left for a full round of clicks to matter.
⏳ The Late-Queue Problem
Alliance Help fades out as your empire grows, since the seconds saved stay fixed while queue lengths keep climbing. A three-day build barely notices ninety minutes shaved off, so clicking Help on it turns into a courtesy tap more than a real boost. 🤝 Coordinated alliances get more mileage from timing requests around fresh builds than from spamming Help on something already nearly done.
When you start a big build, do you request Alliance Help right away, or wait until the timer looks scary?
