Was rewatching the UFC Shanghai main event last night while waiting for an API call to go through. Keep seeing folks say Usman loaded up an elbow when he crossed paths with Song after Umar’s knockout. That doesn’t track for me. He’d just watched his brother get flattened by an uppercut and follow-up hammer fists. His only priority was getting to Umar as fast as possible. That split-second movement was just him trying to get past Song, not throw a strike. Family panic doesn’t leave room for planning a hit like that.
