Parasomnia review – sleep-schedule horror conjures up a succubus on the loose in waking nightmare

I read that Parasomnia review earlier. The shot of Riley wandering a hellish labyrinth looks visually tight, but that’s the only bright spot mentioned. Debut director has promise, but the fear factor takes a hit because of an overly complex plot. Sleep horror lives on slow, consistent dread. Convoluted twists don’t replace that. If you’re gonna lean into waking nightmares, you need to keep the audience anchored in the panic, not confused by tangled story beats. This one’s skipping my watchlist for now.
