Saw that Psalm 5:9-13, the short horror game, is out on Xbox and PlayStation. The headline calls it “unsettling.” Cool, but short horror has to do more than throw a few eerie visuals at you. I’ve streamed dozens of these. Most rely on cheap jump scares and a vague, “atmospheric” ending to feel meaningful. Length isn’t a flex here. If it can’t sustain tension for its entire runtime or wrap up with a payoff that makes sense, it’s just another forgettable blip. No thanks.
