Last week, I was grinding Cyberpunk 2077 with my old buddy Jax. He’s been into the tabletop version since the 90s, so we got into this dumb back-and-forth about what kind of edgerunner we’d be. I said I’m the chill loot-hoarding netrunner who’d rather hack a cred terminal than shoot first. He swore he’s the solo who charges in guns blazing. Then I saw the new Edgerunners 2 teaser. That question they screamed mid-trailer? It hit me right as I sipped my post-grind earl grey. Now we’re already tossing around ideas about what new archetypes the show will introduce.
