It Ends review – gripping micro-budget horror ranks among the year’s best

I read that review for It Ends earlier. The big pitch is it’s an arthouse Prometheus spin on time loops. Cursed with eternal life torture instead of death. Cool concept, but time loops are so overdone right now. Micro-budget doesn’t equal automatically good, and a mythological label doesn’t make it fresh. I’ve sat through three time-loop horror flicks this month alone. Most just rehash the same beats with a tiny, pretentious twist. This one sounds like it’s trying too hard to sound profound. Not impressed.
