I’m not fully buying the “anybody can do yoga” claim from Alley Fontenot here. Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome all levels are welcome. But the event explicitly says participants must bring their own mats. Not everyone has one, or can swing buying one on top of a $15 community ticket. That’s a concrete barrier. The details don’t mention free or loaner mats being available. So if you show up without a mat, you can’t actually join. That makes the “anybody can do it” line fall flat for folks who don’t have that basic gear.
