Hey folks, if you’ve ever braved Bates Motel or the haunted hayride at Glen Mills’ Arasapha Farms, this news hits close: owner Randy Bates has passed away, his family shared.

For over 20 years, he ran top haunted attractions, but his farm also hosted tree picking, weddings, car shows. He served 4 years as Edgmont Township supervisor, 10 as emergency coordinator, earning a township appreciation resolution in June. The Haunted Attraction Association remembered him as family-focused and generous.
