Die-hard Haunted Mansion fans, great news! The iconic hanging corpse in the left Stretching Room is back in full view. A few days ago, it was nearly invisible due to dirt on the ceiling scrim, while the right one stayed clear. As of Monday morning, the scrim’s been cleaned, lighting tweaked, and it’s swinging properly again.

Years of rumors claimed Disney might permanently remove it over sensitivity concerns—talk of this surfaced in 2021 and again with 2024 updates. But now, removal’s off the table; temporary disappearances are just for refurb work. Have you seen it yet, or planning a Magic Kingdom trip to check it out?
