2026 Nissan Ariya Advance+ review: EV roadtrip
Ever stared at your EV’s range before an Aussie weekend trip, wondering if it’ll make it? This Easter, I tested the 2026 Nissan Ariya Advance+ on a 280km one-way trip from Melbourne’s east to Yarrawonga, loaded with my partner, bags and gear. Fully charged at home, it showed 599km range.
150kg lighter than the top-spec Evolve (single motor vs dual), it’s more efficient (19.1kWh/100km) – the only Ariya with over 500km WLTP range. Suburban roads felt firm but softer than the Evolve.
Have you pushed your EV on a road trip? Was range anxiety a non-issue, or did you hit snags?
