Nissan's forbidden EV priced
Ever heard of an EV Aussie drivers can’t get their hands on? Nissan just launched the spruced-up Leaf Nismo performance SUV in Japan—replacing the old hatchback, priced at ~$60k (33% more than the standard model). It has the same 160kW motor as the top-spec Leaf, plus upgraded suspension, shock absorbers, 19-inch Michelin tires, and a 75kWh battery with over 500km WLTP range. But Nissan Australia has no plans to bring it in, citing a non-viable business case. Would you fork over $60k+ for it if it came here? Or is another performance EV on your radar?
