Weekly Updates on Rise of Castles (28th @2026)
This issue mainly addresses several feedback items related to battlefield and season progression: Battlefield of Honour couldn’t be entered after the update, Eden map display anomalies, stronghold pathing getting stuck, and a review of Ocean Event item delivery records.
These issues may seem to belong to different systems, but they all block players at critical points of activity participation or season progression. Not being able to enter BOH means the activity can’t be participated in normally; Eden map display errors affect judgment of routes, terrain, and buildable areas; capturing a stronghold but being unable to continue pathing directly stalls alliance pushes; and Ocean Event items appearing not to arrive makes players worry whether their activity records are intact.
Here’s the current progress: BOH access issues have been identified, a safeguard for regenerating spawn points under abnormal conditions has been added, and the fix will ship with this week’s update; Eden map rendering issues have been identified, and the fix will ship with version 26.702.2; Eden stronghold pathing issues have been fixed via server code rollback; and the Ocean Event fish item reports, upon investigation, showed no anomaly in item flow.
Community feedback played a major role in helping us narrow down the scope faster. @⭐ Aqua ⭐, @bombb, @MAN_CR7_, @Alexander1981, and others provided details on BOH errors, empty maps, and spectator-status anomalies; @SKY DIVER, @Ollie, @L-003, and others documented Eden scenarios with mountains, walls, and tiles disappearing; @PrincessDub, @Kadelyn, @CrazyMadSleepy, @Lady Gail, and others reported being unable to ground and path from strongholds after capture. Screenshots, server info, and specific operation paths are far more helpful for localization than simply saying “can’t get in” or “displays wrong.” Thanks for these contributions.

Battlefield of Honour (BOH) Access Issues: Identified, Fix Shipping with This Week’s Update
After this week’s update, players encountered BOH access failures. The symptoms varied: some got error messages on entry, some saw an empty map after loading, some were flagged as spectators and couldn’t fight, and some alliance members couldn’t enter the battlefield or found the entrance inaccessible.
For alliances preparing to fight, this isn’t a single button failing — it’s the entire activity being blocked. Especially once the battlefield opens, not being able to enter or not being able to fight properly once inside directly affects participation plans.
@jiangnian’s investigation confirmed the anomaly is related to spawn point status: some spawn points were not released as expected, leaving insufficient available spawn points for subsequent entries. A safeguard has been added: spawn points will be regenerated after the activity ends, preventing the same condition from affecting future entries. The fix will ship with this week’s update.

Eden Map Rendering Issues: Mountains, Walls, Tiles Disappearing — Pending 26.702.2 Fix
During the Eden season, some players reported map display anomalies, including mountains disappearing, walls disappearing, tiles and fissures not displaying, terrain turning into buildable zones after zooming, terrain display inconsistencies after switching accounts, and castle names not showing.
These anomalies aren’t simply visual issues. Eden’s mountains, walls, tiles, and buildable areas all affect route selection, push direction, and tactical deployment. If the map display is wrong, the terrain players see is no longer reliable.
@jiangnian traced the issue to the display resource recovery logic: when switching scenes, mountain image assets are unloaded and not properly restored upon return. The fix will ship with version 26.702.2. Before the version fix lands, if you encounter similar display anomalies, we recommend keeping screenshots of the anomalous location, before/after zoom, or before/after account switching for further investigation.

Eden Stronghold Pathing Issues: Fixed via Server Rollback
Eden Stronghold pathing also experienced anomalies this week. Players reported: same-faction strongholds unable to lay roads, inability to continue grounding from strongholds after capture, and inability to properly Tile around strongholds, causing alliance push routes to stall.
Stronghold pathing is a core tactical action in the Eden season. After capturing a stronghold, if same-faction players can’t ground and lay roads from it, subsequent pushes, rally points, and tactical deployment are all affected.
This anomaly was fixed by @jiangnian via server code rollback — stronghold pathing is now functioning normally. Testing coverage for related features will be strengthened to prevent similar issues from affecting season progression again.

Ocean Event (Kraken / Shark) Fish Items: No Anomaly Found After Investigation
This week, some players reported missing fish items in the Ocean Event (Kraken / Shark), as well as some event entrances being invisible.
Based on the submitted information, @jiangnian checked the corresponding item acquisition and consumption records. According to the current investigation, all relevant players had normally received 300 fish items and consumed them during the Kraken event — no anomaly was found in the item flow.
If you’re certain your fish items are still missing, you can continue to submit through Support with your account ID, server number, event name, and screenshots. For specific item record issues, verification requires backend account data, which can’t be confirmed directly in the comments section.

How to Submit Feedback Going Forward
This period’s content was primarily handled by @jiangnian. For recurring issues, please submit through Support with your account ID, server number, time, event name, alliance name, screenshots, or specific operation steps.
For map and pathing issues, please include location screenshots and before/after operation comparisons; for reward or item issues, please include activity interface and inventory screenshots. The more complete the information, the easier it is to narrow down the scope.
The comments section is good for sharing common observations and asking about public progress; for verification involving personal accounts and backend data, Support tickets remain the primary channel.
Thank you to every lord who has continued to follow ROCs and share feedback.
