45+6' — Agustín Canobbio Deep into added time, Uruguay turned a half they nearly lost into a halftime lead. Canobbio's finish in the sixth minute of stoppage time. Cruel, late, and seemingly decisive.

Luis Suárez watched from the stands. Nothing he could do, except watch Uruguay concede a 61st-minute own goal to a team that had never played a World Cup match before last week.
