[Beginner Guide] Dragon Development

You can enhance your dragon from two aspects: its Power of the Dragon and its combat attributes. The Power of the Dragon can be used in construction, tech research, production, and resource gathering, while combat attributes are used in combat. In terms of the combat performance of the dragon, you can increase its star level, and upgrade its star-level talents, skills, and dragon gems.
Power of the Dragon
1. Upgrade the Power of the Dragon to unlock the dragon's Talents. Its talents can help you boost resource production and gathering speed, increase tech research and construction speed, as well as reduce construction costs (excluding Gold).
2. Go on the Dragon Exploration to gain some Power of the Dragon EXP. You can also get meat from sheep hunting and feed the dragon meat to increase its Power of the Dragon EXP.
3. Feeding the dragon meat can also enhance your Amiability with it; when the Amiability is full, the Power of the Dragon can be activated; when the Power of the Dragon is in effect, workers will move 100% faster in your castle, and construction with a certain amount of time left can be completed instantly (the time that can be shortened will increase as the Power of the Dragon level increases).

Star-up & star-level talents:
1. Star-up and star-level talents are interconnected. First, use Blaze Stones to increase the stars of the dragon; for every star gained, one talent trait can be unlocked. The talent trait is a cost-effective way to increase the dragon's power. For every star gained, the dragon's appearance will also change, with a new star-level talent page unlocked at the same time.

2. Light up the talent nodes based on your needs. Make sure you can light up the skill-type talent nodes that offer you significant buffs; if you do not have enough materials to light up them all, make sure you light up the big nodes, and skip the small ones.

3. You are advised to keep the same pace in increasing stars and star-level talents. Say, if the dragon has 3 stars, you should start lighting up the talent nodes of star level 3.
Tip: when you have enough Blaze Stones, you'll see a red dot reminding you to use them, but do not spend them all on increasing the stars, as you need to maintain the star level and star-level talents at the same pace.
Dragon Skills
Skills can be upgraded with the Words of Truth. Skills are less cost-effective in contrast to star-level talents. It'll also cost tons of Words of Truth to unlock talents. Therefore, you can prioritize talents first, and upgrade skills when you have excess Words of Truth.

Dragon Gems
1. Dragon Gems are unlocked in S1. There are three types for the front/mid/back row respectively, enhancing their combat attributes.
2. Gem slots can be unlocked by lighting up star-level talent nodes. Complete "Treasures of the Dragon's Soul" quests to get tons of Lv. 1 dragon gems.
3. The highest level of the dragon gem is Lv. 8, but Lv. 6 ones are powerful enough.

Level up the dragon
1. For every star increased, the dragon's level cap will be increased (capped at Lv. 150 for now).
2. Level up the dragon to take more soldiers in your Legion and Defense Queue.
3. The Dragon's EXP can be obtained by beating Savage Giants and completing The White Crow quests. You may try to level up the dragon if you have Dragon's EXP. It's okay even if you don't upgrade it.
